We are hiring a Media Strategy Manager to join the Global Media team, part of Meta's Marketing organization, and develop the media strategy for our Meta portfolio of brands. The Global Media team is responsible for designing the role of media in marketing while planning and executing paid media activity against Meta's top priorities. In this role, you will be responsible for designing media strategies, measurement plans and approaches to achieve the highest performing portfolio presence for Meta across all of our brands globally. You will develop a holistic view of the audiences, messages, objectives and measurement approaches for our media plans to illuminate opportunities to increase impact. In addition, you will work to craft the media strategy to reach advertisers and build stronger brand sentiment for our advertising platform and products. This role requires ongoing executive communication and will require influencing teams and leaders across the Marketing organization. The ideal candidate is familiar with portfolio brand structures, and is capable of optimizing for both individual brand results and overall portfolio impact. By leveraging audience, channel and marketplace insights, they will deliver thought leadership and develop strategies that go beyond individual campaign objectives and deliver full funnel efforts and brand stories that are tested and validated to improve performance. We are looking for someone who is immersed in media measurement approaches, pushes for innovation, and who lives and breathes paid media.
Media Strategy Lead, Meta Portfolio Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic analysis to identify growth opportunities driven by media and to influence go-to-market approaches for Meta.
  • Collaborate with global media team members and with cross-functional teams (Brand Strategy, Creative, Insights & Analytics, Social, Communications and Brand Partnerships) to develop integrated and impactful work anchored in objectives, insights, and best practices.
  • Partner closely with measurement teams to design media testing and ensure each brand is executing media measurement that will create insights to drive the portfolio forward.
  • Develop data-informed strategies using audience, channel, campaign, and marketplace insights, to drive innovation and business outcomes for Meta’s business marketing.
  • Analyze historical learnings, campaign performance, and business needs to evaluate effectiveness of existing strategies and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Offer a clear point of view and a strong rationale when representing media with cross functional partners.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the media landscape, including audience insights, new trends, and emerging platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale consumer campaigns that deliver business results.
  • Experience designing compelling, executive level communication and presenting to project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience navigating cross-functional teams and dynamics, representing and advocating for team objectives across varying levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience influencing strategy and designing roadmaps to deliver results over time.
  • Experience working in data-driven environments, pulling insights from data, and building compelling narratives using those insights.
  • Understanding of the trends and innovation in media, measurement and analytics.
  • Experience with media measurement methodologies and execution.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for innovation and growth within media.
  • Experience managing media agency resources.
  • Experience designing audience strategies across media planning, buying and measurement.
  • Experience working with brand portfolios and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Project management and organizational skills, with experience prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience problem-solving with a solutions-oriented mindset.

$180,000/year to $252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
