Finance Business Operations Analyst, Infrastructure Responsibilities
  • Driving our server fleet component inventory strategy by assessing business decisions around component inventory purchases
  • Owning server rack cost forecasts, which will require an understanding of server components, supplier ecosystems and market dynamics
  • Manage decisions around server component inventory positions by working with business partners to understand lead times/weeks of inventory required, financial risks and opportunities, accounting treatment and demand and supply dynamics
  • Forecast the outlook for server component cost on a quarterly basis by working closely with the business on understanding market conditions e.g. supply and demand, pricing elasticity, deals and rebates
  • Ensure cost trends and drivers are well understood via regular reporting and analysis and develop accurate forecasts to drive accountability
  • Develop tools to automate and streamline reporting, and create financial KPIs/metrics that help business partners make financial decisions
  • Present value analysis and recommendations to stakeholders across product, business and finance
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in finance, business strategy, or a related function
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related discipline
  • Experience manipulating large data sets and work with system and analytics tools (e.g. Hyperion, SQL) and turn them into insightful business recommendations
  • Experience in applicable accounting concepts and financial planning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dashboarding skills (e.g. Tableau)
  • Experience building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions
  • Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in synthesizing strategic business insights and problem solving
  • Experience partnering with engineering functions
  • Knowledge of server component technology (CPU, DRAM, SSD, HDD, etc.)

$101,000/year to $151,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
