Technical Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage software engineering projects.
  • Build strong and aligned program teams to efficiently deliver on shared goals.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and business owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are partnering with.
  • Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
  • Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders.
  • Influence product decisions to align with higher company initiatives.
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science or a related and 84 months (7 years) of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Requires 84 months of experience involving the following:
  • 1. Delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery
  • 2. Software Development in Java, C#, Relational Databases, SQL, HTML, CSS or Javascript
  • 3. Managing complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • 4. Internal and External Stakeholder Management
  • 5. Project & Program Management
  • 6. Building strong project teams
  • 7. Establishing collaborative work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
  • 8. Defining program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope
  • 9. Managing cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
  • 10. Developing and owning communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • 11. Driving technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
  • 12. Analyzing logs and systems to identify root cause of issues in highly complex software systems
  • 13. Influencing product decisions to align with higher company initiatives
  • 14. Driving internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation
  • 15. Operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.

$202,606/year to $226,600/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
