Meta is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the Product Data Operations (PDO) team. PDO provides data and insights that power machine learning and AI, at the core of all Meta products. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of GenAI programs by providing leadership, strategic oversight, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and product managers, to ensure the efficient execution of GenAI initiatives. GenAI Project Manager, Product Data Operations Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive planning, execution, and delivery of GenAI programs to achieve strategic goals and milestones, including kickstarting 0 to 1 efforts
  • Build strategic capabilities (e.g., data-driven processes, frameworks, analytical tools) to identify and prioritize opportunities to accelerate GenAI product development cycles
  • Collaborate closely with GenAI research, engineering, and product teams to align program objectives with broader organizational goals
  • Proactively identify program risks, develop and execute mitigation plans, and communicate rationale and updates clearly.
  • Guide the work of onshore and offshore workers to complete data annotation projects
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of proven experience with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects
  • Experience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and working with urgency
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Executive presence and effective communications skills
  • Track record of embracing ambiguity and operating effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in consulting, product strategy, and/or building operations 0 to 1 to 100
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale programs on time and within budget
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making
  • Experience with SQL and / or advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
  • Experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields

$143,000/year to $202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
