Business Engineer, Financial Technologies Responsibilities
  • Support Facebook/Meta apps and products and their underlying implementation.
  • Write and ship reliable, scalable, and efficient code.
  • Build and improve solutions in collaboration with engineering, product, and cross-functional partners.
  • Identify and surface insights using metrics on product usage to increase adoption and provide new solutions.
  • Use broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with partners.
  • Resolve complex technical and business needs while contributing to partner documentation.
  • Use expertise and product insight to deliver high-quality project/integration/partner engagements, while influencing product roadmap to meet the business needs.
  • Guide workflow changes.
  • Gain consensus from stakeholders while driving toward solutions.
  • Respond and maintain effective communication with industry partners and internal stakeholder.
  • Work with partners to develop a long- term strategic plan, grounded on business objectives.
  • Guide partners during integrations with Facebook’s platform products and ensure value creation.
  • Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Foreign equivalent accepted.
  • Requires 36 months of post-baccalaureate experience involving the following:
  • Payment processor integrations, Micro Services, and Test Driven Development
  • Open source languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Objective-C/C++, Swift, Java, Kotlin, or C#
  • Web technology stack, including HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Software design and architecture
  • Writing and shipping reliable, scalable, and efficient code
  • Delivering high-quality project, integration, and partner engagements while influencing product roadmap.

$215,429/year to $234,630/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
