Meta is looking for a high caliber business leader to be part of the APAC Sales Strategic Planning and Operations team (SSPO). This role would partner with our heads of APAC Small Medium Business Group (SMBG) to shape and influence Go-to-Market strategies through robust insights using data driven approach and push accountability for results to drive optimal returns for the business and ensure the business is well-positioned for scalability and growth. We are looking for someone who is able to work with diverse stakeholders, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and leads high impact cross functional initiatives. This person should be a sharp strategic thinker and is able to execute large scale, complex initiatives through operational excellence. This is a people manager role and the individual will be managing a small team. This is a full-time position and is located in our Singapore office.
Manager, Sales Strategic Planning & Operations (SSPO), SMB Group, APAC Responsibilities
  • Lead a small, high performing sales strategic planning and operations team
  • Rhythm of the business: Deepen sales rigour through design and execute on standard cadence of operations (e.g., forecasting, revenue and operational KPI reviews where applicable, key reviews) to inform management with actionable improvement opportunities. Lead operational reviews and rhythm of the business to drive decision-making and review progress on regional goals and priorities (e.g. weekly/quarterly business reviews)
  • Strategic Planning: Design and drive planning activities with the primary objective of enabling leadership to make effective, data-driven decisions to drive sustainable efficient growth, including medium/long-term planning (strategic, operational and financial) focused on market opportunity sizing, product & capability focus, resourcing (direct and indirect) and org
  • Drive operational excellence through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
  • Lead core sales planning and operations processes for the team, including annual planning
  • Drive key leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities
  • Develop strong collaboration with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the company, including leading task forces on major initiatives and fully represent the SSPO teams
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related field)
  • 12+ years of experience in strategic planning, sales operations and /or business operations, with 3+ years of direct people management experience
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, experience solving complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational), and to drive projects from strategy to execution
  • Experience developing or overseeing advanced quantitative analysis and derive actionable insights
  • Effective leadership and influencing skills, can lead/influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Demonstrable experience working cross-functionally with leadership in developing and executing successful plan
  • Communication and presentation skills with proven success, specifically with an ability to distill complex concepts and translate insights and data into actionable recommendations for senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
  • APAC experience
  • Change Management experience
  • Knowledge of technical languages such as SQL, R, Python would be an advantage
