Meta is looking for a Logistics and Operations Lead to be based in our EMEA Headquarters, in Dublin. This role will strategically help build out a Logistics & Operations framework in APAC & Enhance the existing program in EMEA. This role will bring together the culinary teams’ requirements to fruition whilst working with XFN partners to manage this process. Prepare and share project updates and timelines, Work with our global team to build globally aligned programs and help identify and develop innovation opportunities.
International Operations Lead (12 months STE) Responsibilities
  • Work with wider culinary team to ensure culinary equipment best practice and training in place.
  • Work with culinary team to ensure procedures and processes are operationally viable.
  • Communicate all processes and procedures with regional culinary team.
  • Cultivate a working relationship with FACOPS for equipment repairs/maintenance.
  • Procedure alignment across the region, managing consistent SOPs and processes and ensure these are followed through.
  • Act as main Culinary POC between Café Chefs and FACOPS to prioritize tasks, cleaning processes, coordinate works which disrupt culinary operations and systems.
  • Ongoing review and follow up of facilities tasks and task system.
  • Communicate with wider culinary team to ensure long term solutions and efficiencies are in place for equipment i.e. maintenance due to user error, timelines for repairs etc (help build processes & SOPs).
  • Partner with FACOPS on waste management protocols and processes.
  • Working with FACOPS and culinary PM to implement café improvements and efficiencies to ensure space is fit for purpose (i.e. retrofits, looking at what improvements to the space to ensure smooth operation).
  • Operational tech management including but not limited to menu screen placement.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of operations including safety by creating procedures which support the Cafe Chefs and daily operations.
  • Create process and organize logistics of removal of decommissioned equipment (potential partnership with local charities, organisations etc).
  • Organise logistics for new equipment install/training (with wider culinary team / FACOPs).
  • New Opening: coordinate with PM Team and Chef team to develop the process to drive best practice for all equipment training to be rolled out to both Vendor and FB chef teams.
  • Communicate the PPM and maintenance support program that FACOPS built with the chef team and help them understand this process.
  • Work with Area Chef/Café Chefs to coordinate smallware check-in and onsite delivery arrangements for new kitchens/FDOBs.
  • Runs weekly meetings with each location chef to discuss current issues, resolutions, lessons learned and coordinate upcoming repairs and improvements to their cafes.
  • Coordinate with Area Chef / Project team to arrange Day 2 works on new sites.
  • To carry out any reasonable, additional tasks as required.
  • Health inspection and sign off to operate.
  • Manage burn in process.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven audit and compliance experience.
  • Good understanding of operational excellence in the food service industry.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Doc Suite.
  • Experience in utilizing data and analytics to drive decisions.
  • 5+ years in Operations/Logistics management.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
