Meta is looking for the highest caliber executive leader to manage Meta’s growth in The Philippines, and to spearhead the company’s strategic relationships with global/local brands, agencies, and partners for Meta’s family of apps. As Country Director, you will lead strategy development and operational execution across a functional team including sales, marketing, measurement, and creative. You will need to have a deep understanding of market opportunities, and will create an inspiring vision to set objectives and run day to day operations. You are an exceptional people leader with a proven track record of delivering success in a high performing organization, with diversity and inclusion at its core. We are looking for a candidate who is motivated, a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethics, and is passionate about diversity and its value to teams, culture, leadership, and business. This role reports into the VP of South East Asia and will be based in our Manila, Philippines office.
Country Director, Philippines Responsibilities
  • Define and drive Philippines’ vision and strategy with short, medium, and long term goals
  • Establish strong operational rigor to ensure achievement of key objectives and business growth
  • Represent Meta to form long term strategic partnerships with communities, clients, agencies, government groups, industry groups, and c-level leaders
  • Lead and inspire the team to achieve strong results and create a culture of engagement, inclusion, development, and growth for your team and the broader community
  • Influence and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure effective go-to-market execution
  • Act as a thought leader to advocate for, and inspire, both internal and external stakeholders across a wide scope of key industry/market topics
Minimum Qualifications
  • General management experience and significant divisional leadership is required, especially managing multiple functions across diverse business areas at scale
  • 15+ years of leadership experience, including experience in leading regional or global consultative sales & marketing organizations
  • Experience working with government, industry bodies, and partners on strategic matters
  • Experience in successfully leading teams and comfortable leading experienced leadership teams, growing talent and developing organizational culture, and influencing strategically across cross-functional partners at all levels
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams, characterized by a culture of inclusion and a growth mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to handle change management and to navigate ambiguity with agility and resilience
  • Deep market experience in The Philippines is required, and South East Asia preferred
  • Fluency in English and Filipino are required as this role will collaborate with external stakeholders whose usual business languages are in English and Filipino
