Supplier Quality Engineer - NIC Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end quality of Networking Cards used in Meta Data Center environments.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to assure new product readings and ensure performance meets the key quality and reliability metrics.
  • Manage qualification and quality of critical semiconductor components on networking cards.
  • Responsible for Supply Chain and Data Center quality excursion management through root cause analysis while driving implementation and validation of process improvement and corrective actions.
  • The Supplier Quality Engineer-NIC will perform regular audits of Supplier manufacturing facilities.
  • Create and maintain all production process and quality documentation.
  • Manage all supplier product, process and engineering change notifications.
  • Use reliability prediction tools and techniques to evaluate product reliability performance on new products.
  • Monitor supplier’s adherence to new product introduction schedules to ensure predicable and stable mass production volume ramp.
  • Conduct supplier capability and technology roadmap assessments to assist supplier quality performance.
  • Review and disposition all supplier product, process and engineering change notifications.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
  • Requires five years of experience in the following:
  • 1. PCBAs and electronic system functional and structural testing
  • 2. Networking silicon/module automated test
  • 3. Working with and managing off-shore manufacturing
  • 4. Working in a multi-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and processes
  • 5. Semiconductor and module manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, facilities, and equipment
  • 6. Design of experiments, root cause analysis and problem resolution on a conceptual and advanced troubleshooting level
  • 7. Reliability test and product qualification specifications and procedures, AND
  • 8. Failure rate modeling and predictive statistics.

$213,291/year to $231,110/year + bonus + equity + benefits
