At Reality Labs Research, we are at the forefront of pioneering research into new technologies aimed at revolutionizing user interface technologies for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. Our focus is on developing soft and conformable wearables that provide seamless user experiences, addressing both integration and manufacturing challenges to shape the future of XR interactions. We are dedicated to solving difficult technical challenges across our AR, VR, and MR products. We are actively developing a comprehensive range of technologies necessary for the creation of next-generation AR glasses and VR headsets. This includes advancements in optics and displays, computer vision, audio, graphics, brain-computer interfaces, haptic interaction, and comprehensive tracking technologies (eye/hand/face/body). Our work also encompasses perception science and true telepresence, all within a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative environment. As a Research Scientist Intern, you will collaborate with a team of expert research scientists, hardware engineers, and software developers. Your role will involve building groundbreaking prototypes and advancing the technology that will make XR universal. You will engage with complex technical challenges in human-computer interaction, contributing to revolutionary changes in how people interact with computing devices. Join Reality Labs Research as an intern and be part of shaping the future of AR/VR technology! Work with researchers to help enable their work across the following research disciplines: - Soft Wearable Research - Soft Wearable Technologies - Soft Wearable Transducers - Soft Wearable Technologies, Inverse Design Our internships are twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year. Some projects may require a minimum of 16 consecutive weeks.
