The CCIT (Client Council and Industry Trade) team is committed to building trust and reputation by collaborating with the industry and cross-functional partners to progress on critical issues facing the advertising industry. Their engagements are designed to influence some of Meta's most important go-to-market strategies, ensuring that the company remains aligned with the evolving needs of the advertising world. As a Partner Manager on the CCIT team, your primary role is to design and execute strategic partnership plans and build strong external relationships. By engaging with these influential marketing leaders, we aim to create multiple forums for discussion and advocacy among council members and trade partners
Industry Trades Partner Manager Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Global Director, Industry Trades on the overall strategy for our trade relationships
  • Maintain strong external relationships with industry association leaders and key points of contact for NA trade partners such as the IAB, ANA, MMA, 4 A's, etc.
  • Understand Meta’s goals for these trade associations and how we can provide mutual value to trades partners. Develop, update, and action against joint partnership plans, identify opportunities to match trades’ needs with Meta subject matter experts, and work across cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class partnership.
  • Act as a thought leader and liaison to build/maintain trusted partnerships internally and externally, influence key decisions, and help drive consensus on key priorities.
  • Oversee our sponsorship and membership requirements for each of these trades, ensuring we maximize full membership benefits
  • Meet regularly with external partners to ensure all feedback is received and can be used to drive new programs/partnership opportunities
  • Lead and execute Meta’s NA trade events strategy and speaking engagements, while identifying opportunities for Meta to host or support bespoke events and programs.
  • Work with key stakeholders (subject matter experts, communications, public affairs, policy, legal etc.) to ensure all speaking opportunities receive appropriate input, reviews and approvals.
  • Own various processes of event execution, including: internal event briefs, speaker briefs, speaker prep (when appropriate), updating relevant calendars/trackers, obtaining legal/communications approvals for speaking engagements, coordinating with external event teams (AV/tech, marketing, etc.)
  • Travel as needed to support onsite at key events and team meetings
  • When applicable, manage contractors/agency support
  • Maintain appropriate updates in team-wide trackers and manage relevant operational processes, including budget tracking, contract process, team calendar, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of external partner management and event management experience
  • Attention to detail and experience with project managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience programming and/or producing high-level and high-touch events
  • Experience showing professionalism in dealing with influential partners
  • Proven leadership experience and collaboration in influencing, developing, and empowering valued partners and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about new opportunities for the business and external partners leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
  • Experience juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing relationships within North American Advertising Trades bodies

$158,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
