Data Analytics Lead

The Data Analytics team in Legal Technology Solutions (LTS) is seeking a highly motivated team player who can build cutting edge, impactful analytics solutions with partners in Meta's Legal organization. This role allows for a high degree of ownership of the solutions you launch and the ability to make positive change every day. This Data Analyst Lead will leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities, design, and develop solutions that improve the efficiency of Meta Legal and empower decision makers with trusted, value-driven insights. The successful candidate will possess knowledge and experience in building statistical & data-driven strategies, solutions, and programs that will be used to address legal, compliance and risk management challenges. Data Analytics Lead Responsibilities
  • Drive the strategy, and execution for a portfolio of analytics and reporting programs for Legal
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify actionable insights and suggest recommendations through effective communication.
  • Lead the integration of statistics, data science, and GenAI into the strategy and analytics portfolio for our partners
  • Articulate the technology needs, requirements and goals of the team.
  • Interface with investigators, analysts, leads and managers to understand their data needs.
  • Interface with engineers/product managers to implement partners' needs.
  • Manage codebase, pipelines, rule logic and underlying data table architectures that support the operational workflows and its various third-party integrations.
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across Meta to drive LTS Data Analytics team success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, or other quantitative fields and 5+ years of hands-on experience in a data focused discipline.
  • Working knowledge of backend technologies (SQL, Hive/Presto/Spark, NoSQL).
  • Experience in a variety of data focused initiatives such as structuring assessments around data quality, and development of reporting aids for both internal and external audiences.
  • Experience using analysis tools (e. g., R, Python, SAS), data visualization tools (e. g., Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView, D3.js).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in leading a team of Data Analysts.
  • Knowledge in scripting (e. g., JavaScript, PHP, XML, REST API) and databases (HDFS, RDBMS, Key-Value storage).
  • Masters in a quantitative discipline and 5+ years of hands-on experience in a data focused discipline.
  • Knowledge with analytics techniques such as machine learning, text mining, natural language processing, decision trees, etc.

$124,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
