Meta develops and deploys infrastructure at scale globally across data centers, which includes compute, storage, networking, and AI servers and racks. Global Supply Chain Technology Sourcing owns the sourcing strategy development, external business relationships, internal engineering partnerships, and execution of new product ideas from conception to deployment at scale. The team combines commercial, technical, and operations/manufacturing expertise to progress advances in critical infrastructure domains supporting Meta's artificial intelligence (AI) vision and goals. The leader in this role will own the commercial relationship and supply agreements for the assigned ODM design partners and manufacturers of compute, storage, and AI platforms. Together with numerous internal partners, you will develop sourcing strategies that address the unique needs of supply chain and manufacturing at hyperscale to ensure the timely delivery of quality infrastructure products globally.
Commercial Sourcing Manager - ODM Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supplier proposals, RFP/RFI/RFQ for production orders and NPI business awards.
  • Lead and resolve all commercial queries arising from the quote process and finalize commercials for NPI projects and MP demand.
  • Lead all supplier negotiations and Master supply agreement activities.
  • Lead and coordinate the supplier SBR/EBR engagements.
  • Provide supply chain expertise and consulting to design engineering team for technology migration to improve TCO.
  • Be the leader that demonstrates extreme ownership and leverage supply chain expertise to provide solutions.
  • Influence supplier business models, roadmaps, and support to ensure Meta's commercial and technical requirements are met.
  • Collaborate and support the NPI team for product transfer from NPI to mass-production.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree in a related technical or business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in commodity management in a high tech environment.
  • 8+ years of business or supply chain experience in the data center, cloud service providers, Compute, or AI system server and hardware supply chain and associated industries.
  • Proven experience to move seamlessly from strategy to execution and deliver tangible results.
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external partners in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, entrepreneurial and cross-functional environment, requiring a wide latitude for independent judgment while coordinating people and technical resources.
  • Experience working with and managing suppliers.
  • Experience working with contractual agreements such as Master Service Agreement, MPA, and SOW.
  • Understanding of ODM supply chain cost structures and models supply design for value trade-offs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS or MBA degree
  • Experience working with and managing Component, Software, and Services suppliers.
  • Direct experience partnering with C-suite executives and leaders with supplier partners.

$144,000/year to $201,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
