We are looking for an experienced marketing leader to serve as the Consumer Product Marketing Lead overseeing Youth Trust & Safety within the Instagram team. This person will lead a team to develop marketing initiatives that drive consumer awareness, engagement, and retention aligned to the product, with a sharp focus on keeping young people safe on our platform. The ideal candidate is a leader who can drive both strategy and execution. They care deeply about Instagram's commitment to foster a safe and supportive community for everyone. They are analytical and creative, highly collaborative, and will have a successful track record of launching & scaling mass-market consumer products or services. They have demonstrated experience influencing product roadmaps, successfully representing and advocating for the consumer across the product lifecycle, and leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization. Importantly, a successful candidate will have experience managing high-performing teams and developing people alongside products.
Head of Product Marketing - Youth Trust & Safety (Instagram) Responsibilities
  • Support a high-performing team of product marketers in setting priorities, ensuring cross-functional support & resources, and unblocking as they navigate work streams across the company
  • Tackle complex, highly visible and sensitive issues with a strategic, data-driven mindset. Create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving them with product and cross-functional leadership
  • Build strong product positioning, clear narratives, and drive influence across the Youth Trust and Safety product organization to ensure we’re delivering consumer value
  • Drive go-to-market plans working closely with cross-functional teams to determine effective launch strategy and communications sequencing
  • Partner with brand and integrated marketing on outbound marketing and advertising strategies and programs to drive consumer awareness, adoption and long term engagement
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience launching & scaling consumer apps, products or services for global consumer brands
  • 5+ years of demonstrated people management experience coaching and developing team members
  • Experience developing and driving analytically rigorous online and offline marketing campaigns
  • Experience motivating and challenging teams and individuals at all levels of an organization, both directly and cross-functionally
  • Experience presenting information, recommendations and influencing at the executive level of organizations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience growing consumer businesses through sustained engagement and acquisition
  • International experience and knowledge of diverse cultural, social and business landscapes
  • Understanding of digital and mobile video and the entertainment and technology landscape both in the U.S. and internationally
  • Experience managing other people managers

$180,000/year to $252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
