Meta is seeking a Privacy Program Manager to join its Global Privacy Compliance Assurance, Assessment Response and Delivery team. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and potentially ambiguous environment, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in support of privacy at Meta. Successful candidates should be motivated self-starters who see the value of creating inclusive spaces when solving hard problems and recognize diverse perspectives. The Assessment Response and Delivery team plays a critical role in ensuring that Meta meets its regulatory obligations and executes a best-in-class privacy program. As a Privacy Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional strategic and operational execution of multiple initiatives. You will lead program improvements and new initiatives in a cross-functional environment and effectively engage stakeholders across different functions. While this role is not technical, it requires a keen interest in and aptitude for understanding how our platforms and tooling are constructed with the ability to dive into technical features. The right candidate will build familiarity and fluency in privacy initiatives and business requirements with an ability to articulate complex solutions to leadership.
Privacy Program Manager, Assessment Response & Delivery Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Privacy leadership team and cross-functional partner teams to develop programs and processes
  • Design strategy and drive execution and operationalization of key privacy initiatives
  • Drive coordination, clarity and strategy, effectively optimizing scope, schedule, and resources
  • Drive accountability and key performance indicators to measure success and ensure that critical projects remain on track
  • Foster and cultivate deep partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across privacy and cross-functional teams
  • Develop and implement methods and capabilities to define and measure the progress and success of programs in a standardized and consistent manner
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years experience in business operations, project program management, strategy or management consulting
  • 3+ years experience in privacy or data protection with practical experience operationalizing privacy regulations
  • 2+ years experience partnering with product, legal, compliance and engineering teams to deliver effective compliance programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management certification
  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • CIPP or equivalent Privacy Certifications

$143,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
