Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with at-scale server hardware development experience. This position will work with cross-functional teams to support proof of concept generation, design, component selection, integration, development, and validation of new hardware products. This position will require engagement with external vendors as well as a range of internal engineering and specialized teams. Meta’s Infrastructure Engineering organization is responsible for the growth, management and 24x7 upkeep of all Meta’s products and services.
Technical Program Manager, Hardware Systems Responsibilities
  • Lead technical program management of next generation AI/ML servers platform(s) in a matrix organization covering a range of areas: Data Center, Network, Hardware Systems, Software Engineering, Capacity Management.
  • Own development of system components: modules, chassis, subsystems spanning internal and external development work through successful ingestion into Meta’s infrastructure and support of production workloads at scale.
  • Develop and manage the program including defining scope, requirements, development model, schedules, and deliverables with engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
  • Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation and change management on programs
  • Drive process improvements across multiple functional areas
  • Manage and drive strategic vendor engagements and deliveries
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Systems engineering, Hardware engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Knowledge of server systems, CPUs, GPUs, Memory, ASICs
  • Experience delivering hardware programs or products from inception to delivery
  • Knowledge of product needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope
  • Experience operating across multi-disciplinary teams, demonstrated critical thinking to develop systems, solutions, and products
  • Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
  • Experience communicating with a broad set of stakeholders and organizations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a Technical Lead on a project
  • Experience in hardware project life cycle management
  • Experience with data center architecture and deployment
  • Experience working with ODM’s and other vendors
  • Experience working in a start-up environment and technical infrastructure management

$102,000/year to $157,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
