We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Competition Policy & Market Regulation Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and developing policies related to competition law and regulation with a targeted focus on open source AI. Competition & Market Regulation Policy Manager Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase awareness on the benefits of open source AI for markets and growth
  • Develop and manage a strategy and resources for open source AI and competition initiatives.
  • Advocate for policies that promote competition and open source AI, both within the company and externally through industry groups and advocacy organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the AI & competition community, including researchers, developers, and users.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, and publicly engagements about the importance of open source AI and competition.
  • Identify and evaluate new open source AI & competition projects and technologies that the company could contribute to or adopt, and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop messaging and materials that highlight the company's commitment to open source AI and competition.
  • Monitor industry trends and developments related to open source AI and competition, and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to leadership on the progress and impact of open source AI and competition initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis on competition policy issues, including market trends, regulatory developments, and legal precedents
  • Monitor and analyze industry developments and identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on competition policy matters
  • Represent the company in external forums and engage with regulators, industry associations, and other stakeholders on competition policy issues
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, law, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in competition policy analysis or a related field
  • Proven understanding of competition law and regulation, including antitrust and consumer protection laws
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience to work independently and as part of a team

$151,000/year to $216,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
