Meta is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Materials Manager to support the service of our physical infrastructure. The team is responsible for logistics support and material planning for various technical teams that operate physical infrastructure. The Infrastructure Materials Manager would engage various internal customers, manage material ordering & fulfillment, manage material escalation, coordinate execution activities, enable automated processes by ensuring the necessary inputs and initial setup to enable operation efficiency in the growing business area. This position is for an operations professional who can operate complex programs, maintain engagement with multiple stakeholders, envision the future systems & processes, and lead cross-functional efforts to support ever changing and growing customer needs.
Infrastructure Materials Manager Responsibilities
  • Support the Materials Management team in determining optimal supply chain execution for all products by providing analysis, based on demand, failure rates, decommissions, EOL/LTB, cost, etc.
  • Actively interact with internal partner teams such as Demand planners, Quality, RTP, Sourcing, Data Center Ops, etc., to understand & fulfill their material needs and help resolve inventory issues.
  • Act as the primary liaison between ODM/OEM and META, to help manage, monitor, and drive Spare material requirements.
  • Provide visibility into supplier lead times, commits/decommits, and proactively communicate on material availability to support data center operations.
  • Highlight supply risks and implement strategies to mitigate such risks to ensure Supply continuity.
  • Own & manage end to end Spare Material procurement process ensuring adherence to predefined SLAs.
  • Build strong relationships with Suppliers/Vendors, ODM and OEM etc. and drive Quarterly/Strategic Business reviews.
  • Create materials management focused executive dashboards and KPI metrics for operations all hands meetings (Tier I and Tier II metrics). Determine optimal supply chain execution through detailed analyses.
  • Drive resolution for supply chain exceptions/escalations through prioritization, stakeholder alignment and communications.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree in engineering, science, or business, or related work experience.
  • 8+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Experience in procurement & order fulfillment processes, inventory management, warehousing & service operations.
  • Track record of success in leading on-time delivery, reducing lead time and inventory risk/improvements.
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain planning tools and ERP systems.
  • Experience in Vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Proven communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced user of Excel, VBA, or similar data visualization tool.
  • Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and requirement elicitation.
  • Experience working in cross-functional projects across multiple teams.
  • Possess in-depth understanding of Supply Chain systems and tools. Identify gaps, troubleshoot, and provide inputs for future system development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS degree in Management, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • 5+ years of Excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau, quantitative modeling, or related experience.
  • Experience in logistics operations in a global high growth environment.
  • APICS, CPIM, or CSCP certification.

$113,000/year to $165,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
