Meta is seeking an experienced Signal Integrity Engineer to join our Platform HW Interconnect team, focusing on Power Integrity and Signal Integrity for our MTIA (Meta Training Inference ASIC) reference module and next-generation System on Wafer (SOW) reference module design.
Signal Integrity Engineer Responsibilities
  • Work with vendors to select and guide them in developing a budget that can close links for high-speed signaling (Ethernet and PCIE)
  • Collaborate closely with the packaging team to review and guide package design and verify the D2D interface on silicon interposer
  • Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis for MTIA and SOW reference modules
  • Develop and implement signal integrity and power integrity guidelines for high-speed signaling
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience), with 10+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with industrial high-volume manufacture correlation methodology
  • Experience with industry SI/PI simulation toolchains (e.g., Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity)
  • Experience analyzing and resolving signal integrity-related hardware issues
  • Knowledge of interconnect technologies (e.g., PCB material and manufacturing technologies, high-speed cables, and connectors)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with retimer/redriver for high-speed SerDes
  • Experience with PCIe/DDRx interface validation (e.g., compliance test, internal eye tools, Rank Margin Tools)
  • Deep understanding of different EM simulation algorithms (2D, 3D, frequency domain, time domain)
  • Experience with PCB loss and quality validation for high-volume products

$170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
