Meta is seeking a Production Systems Engineer Intern to join our Release to Production Engineering team. Our servers and data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered. Production Systems Engineers in this role build tooling and infrastructure to support the validation of upcoming and existing platforms in the AI space.
Production Systems Engineer Intern Responsibilities
  • Enhance and maintain existing tools and automation frameworks based on specifications
  • Define, develop, implement, and maintain frameworks for various hardware products throughout the whole product lifecycle
  • Work with partner teams to utilize existing test frameworks and explore new use cases
  • Interface with internal and external teams to build necessary ports to connect with other tools
  • Analyze data from large scale fleet across different dimensions
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Software development experience in any formal programming language (e.g. Python, Rust, Go, Java)
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with object oriented design, programming, and analysis
  • Experience in hacking and prototyping
  • Familiarity with hardware design and NPI development lifecycle
  • Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
