Meta is seeking an experienced professional to join our Finance Outsourcing Strategy team. This individual will support our team’s outsourcing strategy to develop and execute goals, manage roadmaps and initiatives, and identify opportunities to enhance the value we deliver to our Finance stakeholders and XFN partners. This role will partner closely with the rest of the Finance Outsourcing Strategy team to ensure that the strategies can be successfully implemented and we realize the expected benefits for our Finance and Accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with outsourced partners, experience leading service delivery transformation strategies and initiatives, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner with XFN teams. This position is located in Dublin, Ireland.
Finance Outsourcing Strategy Manager Responsibilities
  • Assist with developing Finance Outsourcing Strategy goals and strategies to enable our Finance and Accounting teams to enhance our business process outsourcing (BPO) operating model and add new capabilities and technologies with our 3rd party BPO service providers.
  • Identify new opportunities and enhancements to our BPO environment to enable our Finance and Accounting teams to continue to scale efficiently and securely.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to deliver their outsourcing strategies.
  • Partner with our 3rd party BPO service providers and Finance and Accounting teams to identify process and system improvements and track the expected benefits and return on investment of selected initiatives.
  • Research outsourcing leading practices and the overall landscape to bring insights and recommendations back to the team.
  • Manage strategic outsourcing projects using proven project management processes, as required.
  • Build and cultivate strategic relationships with finance, XFN, and 3rd party teams and leaders.
  • Partner with the global team to enhance the service levels of our BPO service providers, including evaluating data standards, operational excellence, and continuous monitoring.
  • Build an effective working relationship with the global team, proactively contributing to optimization of the structure and the operating model of the global team.
  • Implementation & management of governance oversight procedures including responsibility for driving process improvement and automation initiatives relating to the Governance of our BPO service providers.
  • Provide change management oversight & assistance with BPO service provider readiness to support new process rollouts, changes to business processes and systems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience including working in multi-national, public companies.
  • Experience working in shared services and outsourcing, with specific experience in finance functions.
  • Ability to drive governance processes in a shared services or outsourcing environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to provide insights which result in better business decisions.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to get into the details yet also articulate findings to finance leadership.
  • Understanding of process and operational excellence frameworks and the ability to apply them to different environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve issues strategically.
