Enterprise Engineering is the backbone of Facebook the Company. A complex combination of industry technologies, SaaS, 3rd Party and custom solutions are the key to supporting our internal and external customers. The team partners with teams across Meta to deliver solutions that protect the security and privacy of over a billion people. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a background in cloud, infrastructure and securing enterprise products by developing tools and automation to address threats at scale, plus passion for enabling outstanding engineers in a fast-paced environment.
Security Engineering Manager, Enterprise Security Responsibilities
  • Support a team of highly capable engineers to build and deploy security capabilities to harden a wide range of enterprise products and services
  • Hire, build, and grow a high performing team
  • Drive technical strategy for securing enterprise products and services
  • Establish and execute the team's roadmap, setting clear expectations, goals and impact metrics
  • Partner with engineering teams across infrastructure and security to identify, prioritize and drive security engineering initiatives that balance risk with business goals
  • Integrate security in a constantly evolving environment where process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of work experience in software or security engineering, including 3+ years of proven hands-on technical management experience of software or security engineers with development focus
  • Experience designing and building systems used for hardening infra and products to prevent threats
  • Broad knowledge across security disciplines, including cloud, infrastructure, web and offensive security
  • Experience with attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures and prevention strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in working across organizational boundaries and drive complex cross functional efforts to achieve company wide impact
  • Experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management
  • Coding experience in at least one language (even if it is not one that Meta uses)
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in security-focused software engineering, designing large scale systems to address security concerns

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
