Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager intern to join our Hardware TPM team. We are looking for someone that shares our passion for building products to support infrastructure services for scale as our workloads continue to grow in complexity. Our team supports the development of the next generation AI/ML, Compute, and Storage server platforms deployed within Meta’s infrastructure. This Technical Program Manager position will work with cross-functional teams to drive hardware programs through various stages including proof of concept generation, design, component selection, development, integration, and validation. Meta’s infrastructure is constantly redefining what is possible, and we need program managers that can do the same. This full-time internship position will work with our Group Technical Program Manager.
Technical Program Manager Intern, Hardware Responsibilities
  • Lead technical program management of next-generation servers platform(s) for Meta Infrastructure in a matrix organization covering a range of functional teams and across multiple physical locations
  • Own program success spanning the development of a hardware product. This could include the server, modules, chassis, or subsystems spanning internal and external development through successful deployment into Meta’s infrastructure and support of production workloads at scale
  • Provide hands on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation/deployment, and monitoring
  • Perform risk identification and management for programs
  • Provide day-to-day coordination for projects and tasks
  • Help drive process and communications improvements across multiple teams and functions both internal and external to Meta
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, embedded software/firmware development, hardware development, and/or cloud infrastructure services
  • Organizational and coordination skills along with multitasking capabilities to get things done
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship building and influencing project stakeholders
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Project and Program Management skills and tools
  • Hardware Design or validation experience
  • Experience in hardware project life cycle management
  • Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
