The mission of our Sales Strategic Planning and Operations (SSPO) function is to drive efficient revenue growth and product adoption by aligning the business to monetization priorities and transforming our business into a data-driven organization. Meta is seeking a dynamic, experienced Director to lead our Central Operations function. This leader will lead a globally dispersed team responsible for designing, scaling, and optimizing the internal processes and frameworks that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our Sales organization. The Director of Central Operations works incredibly closely with our Global and Regional SSPO teams, Product partners, Sales leaders, and core cross-functional partners to surface insights, ensure our processes evolve with the needs of our business and integrate with our internal tools. Above all, this Director is a strong organizational leader who can communicate a shared vision with cross-functional leadership and teams, develop a high performing team, and ensure our business can deliver results at scale.
Director, Central Operations Responsibilities
  • Define cohesive operations strategy to bolster the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales team
  • Establish consultative relationship with global and regional teams to help them achieve strategic and operational goals
  • Guide the development of systems, tools and processes that enable more efficient business performance
  • Lead the identification of tooling requirements (first and third party needs) for sales needs, CRM systems, and other tools
  • Build and maintain working relationships with our core cross-functional partners, such as Product, Data Science, Data Engineering, Marketing, and Sales leaders to deliver against the business priorities
  • Drive execution through ability to quickly move from high-level conversations into detailed operational discussions
  • Tap into analytical understanding of the business, levers, metrics and problem solving skills to deep-dive into a specific area of the business
  • Develop and guide organizational effectiveness, proactive talent planning, change management and conflict resolution
  • Develop, retain and motivate the organization while continually raising the bar for talent and capabilities across the globe
  • Willingness to travel when needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of business operations experience
  • 5+ years people management, influencing and coaching skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience leading global sales operations strategy, relationship management and operations projects at a consulting firm or in a corporate strategy
  • Communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights and data into actionable recommendations for leaders
  • Proven experience partnering closely with Product and cross-functional partners to deliver on integrated roadmaps and plans
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, experience solving complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)
  • Experience to effectively navigate through ambiguity and complexity to overcome obstacles with moderate direction
  • Demonstrable success as a leader of change, achieving operational improvements and success by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the digital media or technology industry

$227,000/year to $296,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
