For our office in Amsterdam, Meta is seeking a Client Partner who is an experienced sales and marketing professional to help build and sell Meta’s advertising solutions to large advertisers. The ideal candidates will have experience in a constantly changing sales environment and be able to problem solve with limited oversight. You will have demonstrated experience and measurable success in digital and omnichannel sales, and be able to easily navigate C-level and senior management stakeholders, as well as their agency counterparts. You will have extensive media knowledge and great communication skills, and the ability to consult and deliver high-end deals. You will report to the Head of Industry and will be expected to travel internationally. The role is based Amsterdam and it is a Short term contract for 19 months.
Client Partner Telco, Tech, Auto & Gaming, Benelux (STE, 19 months) Responsibilities
  • Focus on work that drives incremental revenue with global and local clients.
  • Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals for own set of accounts.
  • Develop and deepen business relationships with specific large and complex organizations to obtain marketing and sales budgets.
  • Identify and ruthlessly prioritize business opportunities.
  • Partner with Meta's cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing account plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach to Meta's success the region.
  • Develop the account portfolio from a deep understanding of your business.
  • Implement best practices for building account plans, client interaction and pipeline based on your understanding of the advertisers and agencies you work with.
  • Develop cohesive plans and reports to measure and forecast the growth and performance of the portfolio, based on deep account and industry knowledge.
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Meta solutions.
  • Act as a thought leader in the market as within our company to grow Meta's footprint in the market and gain additional shares on total advertising budgets.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge and/or experience in sales or marketing with a proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships.
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
  • Demonstrated success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems.
  • Understanding of user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms.
  • Fluency in English is essential for this role.
  • Relationships with top marketing decision makers at traditional companies and media agencies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering highly sophisticated and KPI driven performance and brand marketing campaigns across different marketing channels.
  • Demonstrated track record of Marketing, Consulting, Brand Advertising, Media Sales and/or Online Advertising experience.
  • Proven track record in dealing with C level and senior management.
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Fluency in English and in Dutch.
