Meta Reality Labs focuses on connecting people through Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). The compute performance and power efficiency requirements of these products require custom silicon. Meta is driving state-of-the-art technology forward with breakthroughs in computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, displays, sensors, and new ways to map the human body. We believe the only way to achieve our goals is to look at the entire stack, from transistors, through architecture, to firmware and algorithms. The Silicon End-to-End (E2E) System Prototyping and Validation team seeks a Lab Manager to oversee the operation of FAST’s silicon-proto labs across different sites. The position requires a leader who can manage priorities, distribute resources across a portfolio of short/mid/long-term lab projects, and has experience working with different engineering teams to manage labs’ daily operations to meet Meta’s lab safety and security guidelines while facilitating efficient development and testing environments.
