As an HR Technology Data and Insights professional on our People Operations team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the employee experience by harnessing the power of data to drive business outcomes and improve HR operations. You'll lead complex data analysis projects, develop KPI frameworks, and create user-friendly dashboards to measure performance effectively. With your expertise in SQL and Tableau, you'll help build a scalable and efficient HR ecosystem that supports digital transformation and long-term HR architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical, storytelling skills and will thrive managing concurrent projects while working with a globally distributed team to drive outcomes.
Insights Analyst - HR Technology Responsibilities
  • Apply expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis, data visualization, and presentation to inform, influence, and support business priorities
  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of analytics teams
  • Leverage technical expertise to solve complex problems, inform decision-making, and drive business outcomes for our HR technology team
  • Utilize tools and programming languages like Tableau, Hive, R, Python, Workday, and other internal tools to work efficiently at scale
  • Maintain code-base (SQL) used to drive self-service tools, and recommend opportunities for improvement
  • Create and iterate on solutions and dashboards to empower operational and exploratory analysis
  • Enforce best practices and alignment with research, forecasting, analytics, and engineering teams
  • Effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion
  • Document requirements with stakeholders, and partner with People Insights and People Analytics on broader changes to core dashboards and solutions
  • Partner with Business, Product Manager, Digital Ecosystem, Solution Design, Content, Data Science, Product, Enterprise Engineering, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering teams to solve problems at scale
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in a field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization (e.g., computer science, math, engineering, networking, or statistics), or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL or similar language aimed at querying relational databases
  • 4+ years of experience working with data visualization tools
  • 5+ years experience doing quantitative analysis
  • Proven track record of manipulating large data sets and interpreting results for business decisions
  • Experience communicating complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • 2+ years of experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Experience communicating with professionalism and proven customer-service skills
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and building relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with R, Python, or a similar scripting language a plus
  • Degree in a quantitative field, such as Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or Information Systems
  • Familiarity with HR/organizational domain & people data preferred (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
  • Project management skills to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Tableau experience creating data visualization

$104,000/year to $146,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
