We're seeking a visionary Creative Director to spearhead the aesthetic direction and scope of our cutting-edge generative media models. As our Creative Director, you will develop and implement aesthetic principles and stylistic guidelines that elevate our media models, driving innovation and pushing boundaries in creative tools for self-expression. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of curators, artists, technologists, and product designers, shaping the future of our creative tools. The ideal candidate will have experience conceiving and directing the development of world-class visual content across various mediums and thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Comfortable communicating abstract concepts with executives and diving in to work directly with artists on multiple projects running in parallel.
Creative Director, GenAI Media Foundations Responsibilities
  • Develop a unified artistic direction, vision, and high production standard in the creation of AI based experiences on various platforms
  • Partner with leads on the aesthetic, creative, and technology direction of Art across a range of new product experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to curate, create, or acquire the data needed to enable the highest visual standards
  • Inspire the creative team to be passionate and ambitious in their work
  • Maintain and manage consistency of visual quality across various products
  • Effectively influence leaders and key partners across Meta products to gain alignment and communicate with conviction
  • Partner closely with product, design and engineering to identify opportunities for feature enhancements that would elevate the Art quality and user experience
  • Collaborate with creative directors, designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven creative presenter, adept at communicating complex aesthetic concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience leading a creative team through delivery of artistic standards across mediums and styles.
  • Work cross-functionally, balance the needs of stakeholders, and break down complex narratives into simple, but compelling ideas
  • Portfolio that showcases your expertise in curating and directing creative projects, with a focus on aesthetics and storytelling mediums.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with generative models, such as Emu or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of data curation and annotation processes.
  • Proven hands-on experience in 2D creation workflows. Demonstrated understanding of new creation tools, 3D workflows and the emerging industry landscape
  • Experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in a technology or media company.

$175,000/year to $236,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
