We are looking for a Well-Being Coach to lead and support the day to day resilience and well-being of teams that are potentially exposed to graphic content within Meta. The ideal candidate will embed themselves within teams, providing psychoeducation and well-being coaching through group sessions as well as 1:1 consultation. The person will be in charge of raising trends, proposing scalable solutions focused on identified needs and available data as well as keeping a strong pulse on the teams’ overall well-being and psychological health. The Well-being coaching team is a global team based across APAC, NORAM and EMEA and it reports up to the Psychological Health and Safety Organization. Please note this role does not include providing clinical services, the Well-being Coach will not provide therapy/counseling services to the teams. This is a full time, in office position. The role might include some travel and some early mornings/ late evenings.
Well-Being Coach Responsibilities
  • Provide day to day well-being and resilience support to teams that may be exposed to potentially graphic/objectionable content as part of their role
  • Be well versed on, and function as POC for, all well-being and mental health related resources and programs within the company
  • Deliver well-being onboarding and group psychoeducation on pre set topics and tailored sessions
  • Provide informational sessions that are relevant and engaging
  • Create and develop content for different mediums, ie. presentations, sessions, Workplace posts, etc
  • Collaborate with XFN and the wider organization to develop/source/organize non-clinical sessions that are relevant (based on teams’ needs), engaging and within the coaching model
  • Deliver 1:1 well-being coaching sessions, keeping clear boundaries and mindful of not falling into counseling
  • Participate in team trainings and complete shadowing sessions, to fully understand the reality of the team and the company
  • Responsible for escalating cases that require clinical services, ensuring the employee feels safe and comfortable moving from a coaching setting to a counselling space (clinical services being provided by different POCs)
  • Identify trends from sessions and advise management on strategies to manage and enhance employee well-being
  • Manage 1:1 scheduling and coordination of group sessions
  • Work closely with management reporting back on participation, engagement and opportunities for development
  • Ensure that all work with clients is private and that ethical practices are observed at all times
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in counseling, therapy, social work or similar field
  • Masters Level in behavioral health, mental health and/or equivalent
  • Hold accreditation/registration/practitioner status with Governmental agency and or State with responsibility for regulating the practice in their field
  • Licensed as LCSW, LPC or equivalent (hold an active license in region)
  • Experience facilitating psychoeducational groups and/or teaching
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in MS Office
  • Experience working with similar demographics (EAP, experience in tech or highly functioning, high achieving team/individuals)

  • Experience navigating a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and an impact driven culture
  • Experience communicating effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Second language

  • Comfortable working autonomously
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with experience maintaining neutrality, impartiality and confidentiality in all aspects of work undertaken
  • Coaching Certification (ICF)

$111,000/year to $162,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
