Data Engineering Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of data engineers and provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to help them achieve their career goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the privacy consent and deletion requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions.
  • Define and prioritize data engineering project roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of high quality data products.
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures that enable efficient processing, storage, and analysis of privacy consent and deletion data.
  • Develop data quality metrics and monitoring processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of privacy consent and deletion data.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop analytical models and dashboards that provide insights into privacy consent and deletion trends and help identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement data deletion frameworks that ensure the proper removal of non-compliant data usage.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in data engineering, privacy, and compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of data engineering standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new data engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post- baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Requires 60 months of progressive post-baccalaureate experience involving the following skills:
  • 1. Performing analytics and data management using SAS
  • 2. Designing and developing SAS programs
  • 3. ETL processes
  • 4. Building data validation framework
  • 5. Building data analytics pipeline
  • 6. Oracle and Hadoop
  • 7. Unix/Linux
  • 8. R and Python
  • 9. Shell Scripts
  • 10. SQL
  • 11. Preparing test plans & test scripts.

$233,761/year to $279,400/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
