We are looking for a leader who is a great communicator and collaborator to drive alignment and cross-functional execution across the organization System Architecture, Hardware, Firmware, Feature teams – to deliver on System Verification. The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, solid technical depth, and demonstrated experience leading large projects across multiple Software and Firmware teams with strong dependencies to hardware teams. You will have a well-rounded technical background, experience in system verification, ability to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and lead without authority. You are not only able to drive execution, but also develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, besides being hands on to get the job done.
Technical Program Manager, System Verification Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage complex cross-functional device programs, facilitating relationships across multiple teams to identify risks, manage dependencies and optimize resources.
  • Develop end-to-end program plans, influence teams to deliver against them, and keep the org and leadership informed on progress.
  • Drive cross-functional teams (Architecture, Systems, FW, HW and Feature teams) to align on requirements and dependencies, development of the necessary tools and processes.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and system verification processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment, drive impact through deployment of key initiatives and garner adoption of those processes.
  • Work with Engineering, product leadership to define and communicate the verification strategy.
  • Able to disambiguate technology stack and roadmap, technical challenges, business needs, and develop a plan for mitigating risks and delivering features that delight our customers.
  • Establish expertise, becoming the go-to escalation point for execution, leader for driving visibility across the program, and orchestrator for managing the integration across your program area.
  • Drive technical excellence within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural specifications, launch criteria, and plans.
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
  • Become a trusted partner for leadership and cross functional teams do develop and execute high complex deliverables
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead execution across highly ambiguous, complex products and programs, with strong ability to make technical and product tradeoffs balancing business needs and technical constraints. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking, and thought leadership.
  • Experience in leading complex execution across multiple teams in different time zones, anticipating roadblocks and creating a path forward.
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa & expertise communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Systems engineering or System Verification
  • Experience in delivering technical programs or products - preferably related to Consumer HW products
  • Experience in working closely with Software, Firmware, HW, Manufacturing teams
