This post was published before the Facebook company became Meta. For the most recent Meta Careers blog posts, visit our blog homepage. From working with movie studios and influencers to helping news publishers leverage the Facebook company’s products, Facebook’s Media Partnerships team is at the forefront of India’s evolving digital movement. Whether it’s building engaged communities or finding opportunities for partners to tell their stories, the team helps them drive business value and growth.
We sat down with Pooja K., Saket Jha S. and Niharika P.—three managers who have led the India Media Partnerships team—to discuss the work that the team in India does and the value they bring to their partners. They also share their personal views on qualities they look for in candidates and provide advice for anyone interested in joining the team.
The India Partnerships organization has gone through steady growth since it was established in 2018, and internal mobility and career growth has been a strong anchor as the team continues to evolve. Both Pooja and Niharika have both transitioned into new roles since we spoke to them at the time of these interviews. Pooja, who was previously leading the India Partner Solutions team across the Media verticals of Entertainment, Sports and News, has since moved to our London office to take on an international lead role for Content Marketing. Niharika, who was previously one of our pioneering strategic partner managers on the News Partnerships team, has taken on a new role as India’s first strategic partner manager on the Instagram Partnerships team. Saket continues to be at the helm of the Media Entertainment Partnerships team in Facebook India. Find out more about the team below!
