Free Basics provides people access to useful services on their mobile phones in markets where internet access may be less affordable. The websites are available for free without data charges, and include content on things like news, employment, health, education and local information.

With Express Wi-Fi, we’re working with carriers, internet service providers, and local entrepreneurs to help expand connectivity to under served locations around the world. The ability to connect not only improves people’s everyday lives, but also transforms communities and brings the world closer together.
