The Sourcing Contracts Manager will support Oculus Publishing in contract management, owning a pipeline of game deals from initial contract authoring through to full execution. They will partner with Game Sourcers to map and transfer key milestones and deal configuration points into contracts based upon the breadth of GL documentation. The Sourcing Contracts Manager will drive preparation and delivery of contracts to the developer or publishing partner, will assess and address redlines in consultation with the Director of Sourcing, the Game Sourcer and Oculus Publishing legal partners. This role assumes management of the entire pipeline of contracts, with a primary objective of optimizing accuracy, turn-around times, and contract execution in a timely manner.
Sourcing Contracts Manager Responsibilities
  • Provide contract development, contract administration and contract management support to the team
  • Manage the contract including involvement through initial price negotiations and milestone structures, potential change orders through execution and review for compliance
  • Assist with audit requests, contract program reports, and contracts look-ups
  • Manage and respond to a high volume of daily contract-related inquiries
  • Act as a liaison between the Legal Department and internal business clients and external contacts
  • Manage and coordinate various projects and contracts management responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including finance and tax departments
  • Efficiently manage our contract management system and procedures, including educating/training internal clients
  • Assist with the beginning to end process for contracts, sometimes includes assisting with approvals or signatures/electronic or wet signatures.
  • Ensure that signed contracts are finalized, including communication to relevant parties
  • Manage contract close-out, extension, or renewals while drafting and reviewing, negotiating and finalizing certain forms of contracts, such as confidentiality and event agreements
  • Develop and define KPIs for the purposes of quarterly and annual business reviews
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience as a paralegal or contract administrator
  • 8+ years experience in the contract or legal space within the games industry
  • Experience in change management and contract management
  • Experience with various contract delivery methodologies
  • Experience extracting, conveying, and understanding information from contracts
  • Knowledge of contract administration principles
  • Experience in all Microsoft Office applications (ex: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Sign (or similar electronic signing tool)
  • Experience multi-tasking, reprioritizing and responding to inquiries
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in Salesforce, SAP, SRM, BW Reporting or equivalent
  • Experience in games contracting at both developer, publisher and platform levels

$159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
