Meta is seeking an experienced facilities manager to lead Facilities Services for North America West. This role is an individual contributor role responsible for overseeing a team of vendor service providers. This position will have a key role in embodying and supporting the community of this site, driving efficiency through our services, implementing regional strategies to scale operations, and partnering closely with local business leadership to execute priorities. This region is complex, with a wide diversity of business teams of functions, with some operations running 24/7. This is a full time on-site role that will report to the Regional Facilities Manager, North America West.
Facilities Manager, North America West Responsibilities
  • Full on-site oversight of facilities operations and services in leased offices, inclusive of mission critical technical data center and power environments.
  • Work with Project Management, Real Estate & Facilities, Office Leaders, Workplace Design and hired Architects/Contractors to define scope of work for satellite office new build, expansion, renovation projects to deliver best in class workplace
  • Change management oversight and coordination with all cross functional partners, inclusive of changes in use and programming within technical/critical lab environments.
  • Full partnership with Facilities Engineering team to support and ensure oversight onsite operations, strategy, programs and process to support 24/7 operations, critical systems backup, preventative maintenance, and asset management of all technical environments.
  • Coordinate office requirements for space planning, furniture, IT, and Security and other cross-functional partners
  • Partner with Transportation, Events & Amenities, Moves and Planning leads in support of strategic plans and execution
  • Track budgets and performance to plan associated with Facilities OpEx annual budgets, forecasting, and CapEx planning
  • Develop and maintain relationships with building property management companies and their vendors
  • Ensure appropriate triage and execution of all facilities related tasks in alignment with KPI/Service Level Agreement targets
  • Lead client relationship management for all internal clients and ensure high quality and consistent levels of customer service delivery
  • Significant role in working with site leadership across multiple locations
  • Support regional resiliency planning and execution along with support to business critical/emergency situations to ensure minimum disruption to the business.
  • Oversee alignment of standards in terms of hard and soft services including preventative maintenance delivery, janitorial, landscaping, moves-adds-changes process, shipping/receiving operations and process including management of IFM contract including SLA’s & KPI’s
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the facilities environment implement programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs while increasing productivity and the workplace experience
  • Produce and communicate management reports and information (financial, KPI’s , SLA’s)
  • Management of building code and regulatory compliance program in partnership with Environmental Health & Safety team
  • Work effectively within deadlines in a growing environment with proven ability to managing evolving priorities
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering, construction or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in facilities management, engineering, construction/project management, real estate, business or property management
  • Organizational skills coupled with attention to detail and follow-up
  • Demonstrated experience of crafting and delivering clear and concise communications across all channels
  • Experience in multi-office environments, inclusive of technical critical facilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience overseeing technical or critical facilities (data centers, research laboratories, etc.) with technical and systems knowledge
  • Experience in a lead or leadership role, manager or individual contributor
  • Experience with building code and regulatory compliance management
  • Demonstrated skills of navigating high level communication with leadership and heads of office
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex negotiations
  • Masters degree in relevant industry field

$108,000/year to $155,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
