Technical Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Develop software roadmaps based on product and technical requirements and business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams implementing the roadmap from early stage development through launch.
  • Lead launch/release activities as it pertains to software features and deliverables.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to identify constraints, dependencies, risks/issues, and to deliver software features.
  • Work with teams to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks.
  • Develop best practices and product development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment.
  • Evangelize them practices to enable them to scale across different products.
  • Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables including specifications and test plans.
  • Work with user research and dogfooding teams and co ordinate user feedback to improve user experience.
  • Provide feedback and influence product design and UX.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.
  • Identify resources needed and work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects, ensuring resource gaps are addressed efficiently.
  • Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Requires 36 months involving the following:
  • 1. Product management
  • 2. Technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications or media products
  • 3. Developing social products, technologies, or platforms
  • 4. Working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team
  • 5. Delivering technical presentations
  • 6. Analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data and
  • 7. Gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution.

$239,816/year to $265,540/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
