We’re looking for QA Engineering Leads to work on our core and business products (ex. Facebook, Instagram, Messaging Apps ) to help shape the future of what we build at Facebook. You will enjoy solving Quality challenges on products built in cutting edge technology serving 2.7 billion people worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a background in a technical field, will have strong Test Engineering or QA experience, and has worked with large Engineering organizations. You are methodical, a self-starter, and passionate about quality which is key to the growth and success of a product.
QA Engineering Lead Responsibilities
  • Build a test-driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality
  • Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products Plan, develop and execute test efforts for multiple platforms Identify, test, track and report KPI trends over the course of the projects Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences
  • Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance
  • Partner with Automation and Infrastructure team to leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.
  • Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent coding language.
  • Experience in testing and debugging web or mobile applications.
  • Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience.
  • Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining quality test automation of both client and server systems.
  • Communication, analytical and problem-solving experience.
  • Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools & automation frameworks.
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing black box and white box testing.
  • Experience working with medium to large engineering teams.
  • Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
  • Experience to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

$106,000/year to $125,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
