The Metaverse Display and Optics (D&O) TPM Manager will support a diverse team of TPMs working across a range of technologies and disciplines to invent, develop, and deliver next-generation display and optics hardware. This individual will join to support a seasoned TPM team, partnering with engineering teams across multiple technology domains—from advanced optical design and fabrication to sensing and module integration—providing broad exposure and opportunities. Manager, Metaverse Display & Optics TPM Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a global team of Display & Optics TPMs located in the US and APAC, providing performance evaluations, ongoing feedback, coaching, and supporting career growth for direct reports.
  • Partner closely with engineering leadership and core technology teams to drive the definition, development, and delivery of cutting-edge optics technologies.
  • Lead resource planning within the TPM team and with cross-functional partners to ensure the success of programs, teams, and the organization as a whole.
  • Identify and address systemic, organization-wide challenges
  • drive positive outcomes and foster strong relationships.
  • Lead cross-functional development forums, setting an example with clear communication both upward and outward.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in building and managing a team of Technical Program Managers.
  • Experience in leading and partnering with international suppliers and contract manufacturers developing consumer electronics hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, shipping, and ramping consumer electronics products into high-volume manufacturing.
  • Experience communicating technical information to non-experts at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in motivating, influencing, and resolving conflicts within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in developing display and optics technologies for consumer electronics at high volume.
  • Leadership experience, both direct and indirect, supporting individuals and teams to collaborate, achieve goals, and grow.

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
