Manager, Risk Operations Systems Responsibilities
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and provide experience, risk, and product insights.
  • Drive key performance metrics such as fraud losses, payment success rates, and support efficiency.
  • Influence cross-functional partners such as Product, Engineering, and Sales to make product and process improvements.
  • Work alongside product teams to implement risk and finance solutions to create a better payments experience, and optimize customer support structure.
  • Help assemble a state-of-the-art operations platform to prevent fraud from affecting Facebook and enhance the experience of the payers on the site.
  • Maintain the performance of Facebook’s risk rules and determine which rules need to be improved.
  • Improve or remove poorly performing risk and payment policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve metrics as they pertain to policy performance.
  • Provide expertise in career planning, performance management, and coaching.
  • Drive team-wide results, determine what is important, clarify next steps and delegate effectively to meet expectations.
  • Work with Risk Leadership team to determine team’s project roadmap and priorities while holding accountable to milestones and delivery deadlines.
  • Collaborate with our product, partnerships, and sales teams to ensure we are meeting our operational, service and revenue goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master’s Degree in Business, Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, Economics, or related field, and 24 months of work experience in job offered or in a business analyst-related occupation. Experience must include 6 months of experience in each of the following:
  • 1. Manipulating large data sets in SQL to draw actionable business insights
  • 2. Data mining and reporting
  • 3. Defining, utilizing, and communicating performance metrics
  • 4. Dashboarding performance metrics and building automated alerting
  • 5. Performing statistical regression analysis to identify attributes that drive performance metrics
  • 6. Analyzing ads API delivery data to detect unusual behavior
  • 7. Programming in one or more scripting languages, including Python or R.

$197,842/year to $233,420/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
