Category Sales Manager - Metaverse Responsibilities
  • Define and drive alignment on the sales distribution strategy by analyzing existing portfolio performance, monitoring competitive activity, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for differentiation for the upcoming prescription & health products.
  • Create go-to-channel (GTC) strategy to drive product sales: via conducting path to purchase analysis by understanding customer behavior, identifying key touchpoints, and optimizing the customer journey for the category.
  • Ensure launch moment readiness by preparing sales teams, developing and executing launch plans, and ensuring all necessary resources & capabilities are in place.
  • Align and define annual & lifetime goals for the region across various sales channels.
  • Develop and execute customer feedback management and prioritization strategies to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is incorporated into product development.
  • Work hand in hand with the global & regional sales leaders to the sales annual plan by working closely with cross-functional teams, developing and executing go-to-channel strategies, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work with internal and external partners to optimize the prescription smart glasses customer experience and drive product adoption.
  • Manage and evaluate sales data & analytics with internal and external partners, and uncover actionable insights to drive access and adoption of the metaverse devices and services in existing and new channels.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on regional and category’s channel needs with a business first mindset.
  • Developing and implementing regional sales strategies that align with the global category plan
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with regional partners and customers
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in each region
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute regional marketing and sales plans
  • Managing and optimizing the regional product portfolio to meet local market needs and preferences
  • Providing regular updates and insights to the global category team on regional performance and market trends.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws that enable sales in region.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in category performance management and /or related field related to managing consumer electronics.
  • Experience with consumer research and proficiently using data and insights to inform product, Go To Market and Go to Channel strategy
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Experience in conducting path to purchase, sales competitive analysis and identifying opportunities for differentiation.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and evaluate sales opportunities that help develop and grow the category
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
  • Experience working independently and adapting in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, ambiguous and fluid environment, identifying and escalating issues early and often.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Overall 10+ years of professional experience in consumer facing industry.
  • Experience in consumer electronics with a demonstrated interest in new and emerging tech
  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
